Class Description:

Band at MC2 is an interesting and unique experience. We are teaming up with the Lake Worth Senior Center to offer an intergenerational band class where MC2 students and the members of the LWSC can learn music alongside each other in a concert band class. This class will be for all levels of musician, from beginner to advanced.

We meet twice a week to learn how to play our instruments and how to read music.

Monday rehearsals: 9:30-11am at Lake Worth Senior Center. All Band students are required to particpate in Monday rehearsals.

Friday class: no instruments, but do bring music and a pencil. Class will focus around learning to read music. Students who have been in band before or who can already read music are allowed to take other classes on Fridays. Students who have no musical experience are required to take the Friday Band class. IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE A DIFFERENT CLASS ON FRIDAYS, YOU ARE STILL REQUIRED TO PAY THE BAND CLASS FEE!
