Designed to be a student’s first systematic introduction to the sciences, Exploring Creation with General Science, 2nd Ed. explores topics such as the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, anatomy and other disciplines, providing a wide range of scientific exposure. Hands-on experiments are included throughout, giving students practical experience as they discover the principles behind the science! Looking at the world from a creationist position, topics are all presented with an eye towards God’s role in everyday life. Co-op days will be lab days and review days.
Each module will take about 2 weeks to complete. Some modules will have to be completed before the start of the Fall semester, as well as during the break between Fall and Spring semesters. Completed homework assignments consisting of On Your Own Questions and Study Guide Questions will be graded at home, but verified completion in class. Each Module will have a teacher graded test (exception-Mod. 1). Tests will be completed at home and turned in for grading. Labs will be started in class and completed at home, with the finished lab turned in for grading/teacher review.
