Class Description:

In this course you will encounter fascinating facts, engaging activities, intriguing experiments, and loads of fun as you learn about the human body and how to keep it working well. There are fourteen lessons in this course that teach you about the body’s systems.

Homework Requirements: 

Students are encouraged to come prepared for class by completing the assigned notebooking activities and textbook reading assignments each week. Students will turn in their notebooking journals for evaluation each week. Notebooking assignments are completed outside of class for the most part. During class students participate in hands-on experiments to enhance the learning experience.

Notes:

This is not a graded course. Students have the opportunity to earn points by completing note-booking journal assignments and through class participation. These points may be used to purchase prizes at the end of each semester.
