About MC2 Homeschool Co-op

MC2 was founded in 2005 by a group of homeschooling moms who wanted to pool their talents and resources together to enhance their children’s home education. It is a Christian faith-based co-op that welcomes homeschooling families from all walks of life.
Classes offered are a mix of core and enrichment classes for students of all ages, 2 years old to 12th grade. We also have an attended nursery for ages 2 and under. 
MC2 meets once a week on Fridays at the building of Northwest church of Christ in Lake Worth, TX. We have two twelve-week semesters each year, meeting each week from 8:45am to 2pm. 
We know homeschool families are usually one income families, so we strive to keep the cost as low as possible. One way we do this is by trading our skills for the skills of others. We require each participating parent to teach at least one class, attend the nursery, or oversee group duties. We waive that requirement for the first semester of membership. What you teach is up to you! 
MC2 is not a drop off school. A parent from every family is required to be on site and participating for the entire day. We do not offer “partial day” participation.  All members must participate during all 4 periods.
Family registration is $85 per semester. Each class also has a class fee associated with it to cover the cost of texts and/or materials. These class fees are extremely reasonable compared to other co-ops, so we are a great alternative for the budget conscious family! We offer a payment plan to make things even easier.
